I just recently returned from my first visit to the manufacturing factories I’ve been working with in Taiwan. I try to be a conscious consumer, aware of the products I buy and their effects on the environment. However, seeing the manufacturing processes for various materials of the products I buy and use on a daily basis has given me increased respect for the process.
I wasn’t able to take photos in all the factories I visited and the ones I could take were often quick and in poor lighting. So I hope you’ll excuse the quality of some of these photos and enjoy seeing this behind the scenes glimpse into the world of textile manufacturing. Below you’ll see photos from my visits to a knitting factory and dye house.
